Faded street sign

Reported via mobile in the Faded nameplate (can't read easily) category anonymously at 16:27, Wednesday 3 June 2026

Sent to Gloucester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9555729.

The street name sign is severely faded and weathered, with much of the lettering and background surface deteriorated. The sign is difficult to read, particularly from a moving vehicle or in poor light conditions.

A clear and visible sign is important because properties along the lane, including ours, are located some distance from the entrance and can be easily missed. The current condition of the sign may cause difficulties for visitors, delivery drivers, tradespeople and emergency services trying to locate addresses on the lane.

I am requesting that the sign be replaced to improve visibility, navigation and safety for all road users and visitors.
