Trees are over hanging my property to rear. Causing damage to my property. Birds excrement, falling branches etc

To the rear of 48 Stirling way. The trees are overhanging at fallen the birds sit above my garden and shit all over it causing damage to my property. Would the Council kindly cut these trees back to resolve this problem? Kind regards, Garrath.
