Park benches in Holmleigh Park are systematically having their ground securing bolts removed. One bench has only one bolt left in situ, the other five bolts have been removed. Removing the last bolt will leave the bench unstable, and could lead to serious injury to any users. I would suggest that all the benches in the park are inspected, and any remedial work required be carried out. Another important point I would make is that these benches are very important to many people, especially the elderly, and it is important that no more are permanently removed.
