Decaying trees

On our green there are at least three trees that need attention. American Tulip tree, which was put in by the council for the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2012 and desperately needs to be propped up straight. The cherry tree (I think) is almost at 45 degrees and the bark is split and coming away. Tree number three has signs of woodworm, decay and the bark is split. Obviously residents are concerned these trees could fall on someone, especially with all the high winds of late! Plus, children use the green to play on. It would help if all the trees could be pruned at the same time.

We’ve passed this on to Ubico, who provide this service on behalf of Gloucester City Council. They’ll take action based on the information provided and aim to respond within 1 working day.

As it’s been a while since I raised the concerns about decaying trees in St Barnabas Close green. As of yet I have not received a progress report and therefore would appreciate an update so I can report back to the St Barnabas Residents Association.
